Is it worth buying a SodaStream?
To put it simply, SodaStream really isn’t cost-effective unless you drink a lot of soda or you’re given a SodaStream unit as a gift.
If you drink a lot of soda, you’re likely setting yourself up for expensive health care costs down the road, so it’s still not cheap.
My suggestion: don’t buy one for frugality’s sake..
Why does my SodaStream overflow?
If too much CO2 is contained at the top of the liquid, it may still overflow simply because the top half of the water bottle is oversaturated even though the bottom half is not. You can force too much CO2 at the top of the water by injecting too much gas into short a time.
